Most of us don’t appreciate the importance of grains in fighting certain diseases and providing essential
nutrients for the body. The importance of grains lays in the vitamins, acidic fats and proteins. In this topic I’m going to introduce many types of grains and the compounds they contain.1- Rice: rice is one of the most consumed foods all over the world, and in some countries it is considered a main dish. The best type of rice to consume is the brown rice or the unrefined rice for it contains high amounts of vitamin B, potassium, sodium and silicon.
2- Oats: oats are considered one of the most important and essential nutrients ever known as they contain omega acidic fats, vitamin B, vitamin E, iron, phosphorus, and they are rich in carbohydrates.
3- Barley: barley is a good friend for all the body organs and it is known to reinforce the body and cure many health problems. Barely contains what we know as “gluten” besides natural sugars, fibers, protein and vitamin B. It can be used as beverage and it has a good taste when cooked. And it helps in case of bladder ailments and kidney stones.
4- Sesame: this kind of grains is so rich in oils, vitamin E, vitamin B, omega acidic fats, and proteins.
5- Wheat: wheat is not usually consumed in the proper way that allows the body to obtain its benefits. It is just used in all kinds of bakery; the matter that provides only high amounts of carbohydrates. The best way is to eat the whole wheat instead of the processed one as it contains essential amino acids, proteins, vitamin C, E and B, besides the variant minerals
